Sidewalk Chalk Art

Posted in Other Artist Work

We've all drawn with chalk on sidewalks or driveways as kids. But never like these artists! Oh my goodness – these are amazing artists – take a look:       [ Hat tip to Sandy at Pinterest ]

"These talented street artists have crafted an amazing ability to trick the eyes of passersby into seeing 3 dimensional sceneries and objects on a completely flat asphalt. Their works are created using a projection called anamorphosis, and create the illusion of three dimensions when viewed from the correct angle."   – BoredPanda.com

Poinsettias

Posted in Reference Photos

Poinsettias! My favorite December flower. It just shouts Christmas!  I've seen the white and pink poinsettias used in some awesome arrangements, balanced with sage greens and purples. But I think my favorite is red – I love the brilliance of the color, and the contrast of the Christmas reds and greens.

SibStudio Red Poinsettia

I just love this treasury of my and other artist's rendition of the red poinsettia from Margaret of Art For Comfort. Enjoy!
