Miss Kim Lilacs

Miss Kim Lilacs

I'm painting for a client this week, but I do have my camera out to capture what is in bloom.  Got to be quick with some of these spring flowers to get a good photo before they're gone until next year. The Miss Kim variety of lilacs are flowering with their heavenly scent permeating  the yard. They are a small lilac, getting about 3 – 4 feet in height at maturity. I have them paired near bigger, later blooming lilacs on the hillside, making the hill look like it's cascading with lilacs.  Enjoy!

LOL Urban –  wouldn't it be something to be able to include the scent online!

Thank you Janet – they make up for some of the snow and ice from the winter!

  4. Those little flowers are so delicately lovely.  It's like flower fur, lol. (Hopefully that makes sense.)

  6. Love flowers of any kind.  Have a beautiful lilac bush just like this in my yard.  If the storms ever stop coming here to Northern Nevada our gardens can start blooming.  We have a short season anyway but this is getting quite ridiculous now.  We had a winter storm come through last night and we actually had snow.  🙂
