Hi Everyone!

Thought you might like to take a peek at some work I just finished  for a favorite client:

Close Up

I used enamel paint for the glass. After I got used to the sticky texture of the wet paint, I was able to get  the same effects as using acrylic paint with glass paint medium. The enamel, once dried completely, is much less fragile and is permanent.  I like the enamel paint better now.

I am also looking into websites where I can sell directly to you.  Look for more information in the coming days!  Stay cool and enjoy the summer days!

Hi!

I finished the rose painting that I featured newly started a few weeks back.  Seems timely since all the roses are in full bloom in the yard.  I used several photos of roses taken last year from the backyard.

Here is the beginning painting:

Starting with laying out shape and mid tones

And here it finished, ready to be matted:

Three Roses

You can find this in my portfolio at the Exton Mall tomorrow.

Take care and enjoy the day!

Hi Everyone!

I apologize for being MIA the past few weeks.  I’ve been doing a ton of painting for a private client.  All of my painting was done for private clientele years back, but now I am happy to add the world of art galleries, mall windows, and Starbucks.  You can never have too many Starbucks around, especially when my work is displayed in their coffee shops!  The Starbucks in the town of West Chester is now proudly hosting 2 of my more recent works of art on their wall.  Check it out if you’re in the area!  The paintings are photographed below if you can’t make it there to see them yourself.  And of course, they’re for sale if you inquire within the coffee shop.

Back to updating my blog again!  Stay tuned for updates throughout the summer months in the Art Association, the mall, and more….  Take Care!
