What’s On My Easel

Posted in Art Work, and Peeking Behind the Easel

This lovely small painting of a pink tulip is my newest finished painting. It is a beautiful pink tulip surrounded by gentle curving tulip leaves. The painting is a 5 x 6 inches wrapped canvas. The painting wraps around the sides of the canvas.

I took the reference photo on a trip to Longwood Gardens. They have the most beautiful flowers in the world. Well worth a trip if you are headed for southeastern Pennsylvania.

This beautiful pink tulip stood out in a giant sea of light and dark pink tulips. It was an easy decision to decide what to paint after my trip and a phone full of flower photos. Look for this painting to be posted on my art shop in the next few days.

What’s On My Sewing Table: 2

Posted in Peeking Behind the Seam, and Sewing: Finished Bags & Pouches

Two new hobo style bags are on my sewing table. I just finished them this week. The top bag is a luscious peacock blue velvet paired with peacock feather fabric inside. It’s super soft and would be perfect for day to evening.

The 2nd bag is another soft to touch gray leopard print suede hobo bag. The suede is manmade so it can handle a trip outside with no worries about rain drop stains. The inside is coordinating gray cotton with a zipper pocket and a convenient slip pocket for your phone.

Both have the same fabric for their shoulder strap, making the bag comfortable to carry. Magnet snap closure to secure your bag.

You can see in the upper right of the photo a sneak peek of the next bag: purple glitter velvet. These bags will be listed on my shop in the next few days. Enjoy !
