Here’s a sneak peek at what is on my sewing table today:
Two styles of smartphone wristlets in progress. I layer black lace over black satin over a black cotton foundation. The three layers create a sturdy but beautiful purse. These wristlets will be finished and listed this week.
This beautiful faux suede camel phone wristlet is also ready to be listed.

Happy New Year Everyone !!
The holiday season of 2014 just flew by and here we are! 2015 !
As always , I will be working to increase my blog posts here 🙂 I will be upgrading to a new blog theme shortly. Like a new outfit, this blog will be looking marvelous. 🙂
This coming year will bring new items, more diaper bags and iPhone 6 + 6 Plus sized wristlets and purses, new tote, purse, & wallet designs, and lots ( !!) of new fabrics for SibStudioSewing. At my SibStudio painting shop, I will posting new paintings and artwork (!!) as well as lots of painted glass. I have several paintings in work and a set of glasses almost ready to be listed. It is going to be a great new year!!

Etsy keeps getting better and better for me as a seller and you as a buyer! This week brings an Etsy credit card reader. It is the little thing that plugs into a cell phone to swipe credit cards. Now I can use this in person when my local customers want to buy direct from me! You don’t even have to be an Etsy member to buy from me in person.
For my local customers – you can finally use your credit cards to make a purchase from me, and without having to sign up for Etsy. It will work for both of my shops.
As are far security, Etsy has it covered. Etsy card reader is fully PCI level 1 compliant and meets industry security standards. Encryption occurs at the reader, and we do not store any credit card information on the device – Etsy
My card reader will be arriving shortly and will make the local holidays sales even easier 🙂 I’ll have more iPhone and smartphone wristlets, zipper bags, diaper bags, and artwork for you next week. Have a great weekend all!

Last week Apple released information on their newest phones. Now we have the dimensions of each of the two newest phones – iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. The iPhone 6 is a little longer than the iPhone 5 and the 6Plus is a quite a bit bigger.
Currently, I do have some zipper wristlets and clutches that will fit each of the phones on my shop. However I am tweaking my best selling wristlet to fit the longer iPhone 6. I have a whole stack cut and ready for sewing.
I will be posting them in my shop by the end of this week. If there is a fabric that you would like, leave me an email or comment, and I will add it to my stack.
My thought on the larger iPhone 6 Plus is that it would be better protected in the zipper wristlets or in the extra padded clutches. This pretty butterfly and roses clutch is the newest of my padded clutches that are perfect for the iPhone 6 or any of the larger smartphones, phablets, or tablet phones.
This is clutch is up on my shop. Watch for more to be listed all week. 🙂
