Perfect for Valentine’s day and all year round! I saw this fabric a week or so ago and fell in love with all that chocolate! I like the realistic print – the chocolates look like you could pluck them from the fabric and pop them in your mouth. I love how each of these items turned out and they can found in my shop. See what you think:
I have a friend who asked for wristlets with African print fabrics. I found some beautiful Kente cloth cotton with bold oranges, green, and purples. The patterns are very bold, graphic, and color blocked.

I used some fussy cutting to get the patterns centered on the main pieces of the wristlets. I loved how the colors and the patterns lined up on the finished product. The wristlets were beautiful! I was excited to have enough fabric leftover to make some for my shop. They are beautiful and I think they will be a favorite . See what you think 🙂
Time to get this blog back up and running! So enjoy a selection perfect for last minute Valentine’s day gifts or just to enjoy all year round! You can find these at SibStudioSewing on Etsy. I’ll have some artwork to show in my next post. Enjoy the day!
I’ve been busy sewing and painting over the past weeks. I will be adding paintings and sewn items into each respective shop every week.
I thought you might like a sneak peek at the smartphone wristlets and tote that will be showing up in the SibStudioSewing shop on Etsy this week.

Wine Tote by SibStudioSewing
This is my newest large sturdy tote. The straps are sewn from the bottom to the top and inside are elastic loops for holding one or two wine bottles. It would make a great picnic tote, a housewarming or wedding shower gift, as well as a great tote for the wine lover.
I finished a new tote this weekend. I saw this sailboat fabric a few months ago and fell in love with it. I love the artistic brushstroke sailboats all done in blue. The white background highlights the boats perfectly. I paired it with a navy blue duck and navy straps to stay true to the simple blue and white of the fabric.
I’ve pulled the bag outwards so you can see the beautiful boats. You can pack this bag with 4 – 5 rolled beach towels and still have room for sunscreen, water bottles, and lunch.
I tweaked the construction of this tote. I used polypropylene webbing and sewed it into the bottom seam as well as up and down the entire bag. The polypropylene webbing is strong, waterproof , does not absorb dirt or water, while still being gentle to the hands. I also tweaked the interior bottom support so it doesn’t buckle when the load gets a little heavy. I think this is my favorite tote… so far : ) You can find it now at SibStudioSewing .
