Cherry Blossom Painting

Posted in Art Work, and Peeking Behind the Easel

Some paintings just need a frame.

This beautiful painting of a cherry blossom turned out lovely, but it was missing something. I love the oval shape of the canvas and how it hints of Easter eggs and spring. That is why I chose to paint a beautiful sprig of cherry blossoms. As happy as I was with the end result, something was missing.

Tada! What a difference a frame makes! Now it has a polished finish! The white frame pulls out the pinks and blues and really make this painting special.

Many of my paintings are on gallery wrapped canvas, so you have the choice of with or without a frame. I painted the sides of the canvas, so the painting looks neat and tidy when hanging without a frame. This painting, however, look much more complete with it framed.
