What am I working on this week? More smartphone wristlets for the iphone 6 and 6 plus. These wristlets will fit the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus, Samsung Glaxay series, HTC and Nokia series, as well as Amazon’s Fire phone
Lace, denim, miniature pandas, kente cloth are some of the fabrics ready to be sewn. I will begin to post these on my shop early next week.
Here’s a sneak peek at what is on my sewing table today:
Two styles of smartphone wristlets in progress. I layer black lace over black satin over a black cotton foundation. The three layers create a sturdy but beautiful purse. These wristlets will be finished and listed this week.
This beautiful faux suede camel phone wristlet is also ready to be listed.

Perfect for Valentine’s day and all year round! I saw this fabric a week or so ago and fell in love with all that chocolate! I like the realistic print – the chocolates look like you could pluck them from the fabric and pop them in your mouth. I love how each of these items turned out and they can found in my shop. I have a friend who asked for wristlets with African print fabrics. I found some beautiful Kente cloth cotton with bold oranges, green, and purples. The patterns are very bold, graphic, and color blocked.
I used some fussy cutting to get the patterns centered on the main pieces of the wristlets. I loved how the colors and the patterns lined up on the finished product. The wristlets were beautiful! I was excited to have enough fabric leftover to make some for my shop. They are beautiful and I think they will be a favorite . See what you think 🙂
All my private client orders are finished and in their happy hands. So now on to sewing and painting for my shops!This week I am adding new smartphone wristlets to SibStudioSewing and miniature paintings to SibStudio Etsy shops. These wristlets are large enough to fit the iPhone 5 and Samsung Galaxy, as well as an iPhone 4. They have a front pocket that fits a credit cards and id’s. The heavy duty velcro tab secures over the pocket opening to keep everything safe and snug. They are an easy, all in one, way of carrying your essentials when you don’t want to be weighed down by a big purse.
