Ah another sign that Spring is on it’s way! Purple crocuses in full bloom! These little guys open up their petals when the sun is shining. If it’s cloudy, they keep those petals closed, almost like they are hunkered down until the sun returns. These crocuses would make a pretty spring painting!
This is my newest bag on my Etsy shop It is a double zipper pouch pocket crossbody bag. It’s a great bag for when you want to travel light but still have plenty of pockets for your items. The bag measures 9 x 6 x 2 inches. It will fit any of the newest smartphones up to 7 inches length.
What I like about this bag, is it has 2 zipper pouches and a slip pocket in between the zipper pouches for your phone, keys, anything you want quick access to. The zipper pockets are lined with purple & white polka dots cotton. The flap has a magnetic snap to close up the bag.
There is an adjustable crossbody strap that can be shortened to a shoulder bag length. The hummingbird fabric features colorful hummingbirds on a light beige cotton background. This pretty & super practical bag can be found on my SibStudioSewing shop on Etsy .
Snowdrops are in full bloom this week. These interesting flowers look like tiny street lamps to me with their draping, chandelier shape. They are usually the first to show up in the early spring.
They are one of my favorite flowers to paint, especially after a long snowy winter.
These Fun Easter makeup bags are freshly sewn and waiting to be photographed and uploaded on to my sewing shop. I will be loading them this week.
The 3 bags on the left are the last of my yellow glitter Peeps fabric. One is a full size 9 x 7 makeup bag with yellow cotton inside. The 2 smaller bags and Peeps fabric paired with coordinating yellow cotton. They are 5 inches wide and 5.5 inches tall.
Next, is a tiny baby chicks with their eggs. This is a full size – 9 x 7 inches – bag with coordinating yellow interior.
And lastly is the very cool photo realistic jelly bean fabric. It has a hot pink zipper and pink cotton interior. It is also 9 x 7 inches. Look for their listings this week at SibStudioSewing
You never know where you might find inspiration for art. Keep your eyes open – inspiration is everywhere. These beauties were hanging out at my local grocery store!
They were so beautiful in a large clusters waiting for someone to take them home. I love their pastel pinks and perfect petals. I snapped their portrait for future paintings.
